Attorney Longo is an experienced litigator with a demonstrated success in the courtroom.
Longo spent more than eight years as an Assistant Public Defender in Lycoming County, representing clients at all stages of criminal defense. She has negotiated favorable pleas, prevailed on appeal, and won complete acquittals in all types of cases.
Longo is able to skillfully defend her clients because she has represented the government as well as the public.
During Hurricane Katrina, she served as an Attorney Advisor for the US Small Business Administration assisting borrowers with SBA disaster loans and provided legal advice and supervision to office staff and provided legal concurrence and approval on loan modification requests.
Before founding the Longo Law practice, Longo served as an Assistant Counsel for the Department of Environmental Protection where she represented the DEP in civil enforcement actions and in litigation before the Environmental Hearing Board. Longo provided legal counsel to program staff on the administration and enforcement of environmental laws as well as on the Right to Know Law.
Longo has prevailed in courts and tribunals all over the Commonwealth. These include numerous Magisterial District Courts, several County Courts of Common Pleas, the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court, the Pennsylvania Superior Court, and the Environmental Hearing Board.
